Bio Snapshot:

Cameron Wheeler is a historian, writer, and educator. He has a Bachelor of Science in Multidisciplinary History, a Master of Arts in General History, and experience as a social studies teacher, writing tutor, and political analyst.

Cameron achieved both his Bachelor of Science and Master of Arts degrees in History from Appalachian State University.

During his undergraduate years Cameron focused on the study of ancient governments, Western philosophy, public history, Marxism, and the development of capitalism.

In graduate school he shifted his focus to the political, economic, & cultural interconnections of the Atlantic World and the history of the War on Drugs in the United States. After achieving his Masters in History, he completed the Transition to Teaching program at Appalachian State in May of 2018 and received his teaching license from North Carolina. Cameron then moved to Michigan to begin his career teaching.

He taught three classes of U.S. History & Geography and two classes of World History & Geography during the 2018-2019 school year. Afterwards, he shifted his career to pursue broader goals related to writing and political commentary.
